Hi, I'm Bryan!

Over the last seven years, I have gained experience in taking care of clients of all ages with all different physical and mental ailments and conditions. I've enjoyed meeting clients from all walks of life, learning from their life experiences and being able to take their life experiences and make them part of my own. Being a caregiver has brought me joy, while being able to provide basic and personal care needs for those who cannot do it for themselves, but allow them to continue living their lives with dignity. While being an HHA / Caregiver i have gained experience in numerous areas, including but not limited to: Activities, Cancer care, Catheter care, Compassion, Dependability, Good at talking with seniors, Great care-giving technical knowledge, a Great sense of humor, Health and fitness with seniors, Highly empathetic, Highly Organized, Hospice experience, Lots of care-giving experience, Meal-prep, Mobility, Ostomy care, Patience, Respite care, Stroke, Team player, Transfers, and Vitals. Taking care of the specific needs of each client allows them to focus on getting well and being able to enjoy life while living their to the fullest. I have multiple traits that have been ingrained into me: empathy, compassion, patience, showing these traits show clients that I truly care for them and wants to provide the best care possible. Patience is a trait that I pride myself with, it's a trait necessary when working with clients with limited cognitive and mental abilities. Having patience when working with clients allows the client the means to be able to complete tasks on their own while under supervision and giving them the feeling of Independence.

My top 3 skills as a caregiver are:
  • Dependable
  • Lots of caregiving experience
  • Patience

I became a caregiver because:

Care-giving is a field that i was kind of thrown into. Back in 2010 a very good friend had a massive stroke, and was unable to live on his own anymore. I opened my home up to him and became his primary caregiver, and medical surrogate. In doing so I found a job that I loved to do: so it never felt like work, and still look forward to seeing each of my patients faces each and every day.

Outside of work, my hobbies and interests include:
I love spending time with friends and family, the outdoors and just relaxing at home. The best part of my day is coming home to my little man "Lui" (my 7 lbs Chihuahua).

My proudest moment as a caregiver has been:
My proudest moment as a caregiver from Christmas 2016, I was able to enjoy the company of a dear patient that I became very close to for his last Christmas.

After suffering a major motorcycle accident Brysn Tinsley provided private care that included personal care and some household chores. Brian was very attentive to my needs and when changing dressings did it with the utmost care and compassion. Brian has traits of compassion, patience and empathy that allows him to be an excellent caregiver to anyone one. Brian has a very calming personality and caring there goes a long way and I would recommend Brian to anyone who needed care.

Bryan came to assist me after a month stay in the hospital after an injury. He came to my home four days a week while my daughter was in school as I could not be alone. He helped me during therapy, drove me to appointments, helped run errands, walked my dogs and helped around the house. We went on walks, watched TV and talked. He helped me navigate a very difficult transition from a very physical lifestyle to being in a wheelchair.

Bryan answered my desperate plea for help with my mother in law. He stepped up to the challenge with finesse and kick ass super hero abilities to care for not just my mother in law but jumped right in and was a tremendous asset to us and my father in law as he transitioned out of this world. I honestly don't want to share him with anyone else because he is truly an amazing person. His ability to work with my mother in law despite her health and attitude issues really impressed us. I would trust him with my care should the need arise when I am older. He feels like part of the family. He is well organized and quickly learned how to personalize my mother in laws experience to fit her needs... Not his. That was very important to me. He is selfless and has helped us in so many ways. Caregiver extraordinaire should be his title. He goes above and beyond for our family. We could not be more happy and blessed to have found him when we did. I could go on and on singing his praises. He is trustworthy, reliable, sharp, efficient and easy to get along with. Too bad there was o lying 5 heart rating. He needs a million.
May 25, 2017, Bryan cared for Marcus's mother in law.
