I'm a great caregiver because this is something I love to do. I have a heart for this field and caring for others. I got into caregiving after caring for my grandmother as a little girl, and taking care of her as she living in nursing homes and at home with our family. I've worked with dementia, Parkinsons, diabetes, hospice, HIV, rehab and the elderly. The majority of my caregiving has been private duty, but I've worked in assisted living as well. I provide all services, light housekeeping, cooking, transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, exercise and rehab, and help with activities of daily living. I am a certified home health aid and medical assistant, and have experience with med management and shots. I love caregiving because I like being there for others and helping them recover or live their best life.
I became a caregiver because at a young age, I took care of my grandmother, and ever since then it was just something I've always wanted to do. To me this field isn't about the money (it doesn't pay a lot!), but about caring for others and really making a difference in the lives of others.
Rae, was a Blessing to our family! Her compassion, smile, attentiveness to our mother and our needs were beyond amazing....! My mother has passed, but if we were to go through the process of having, a compassionate, lovable care-giver. We would choose Rae! I pray that her skills will be a Blessing to any family in need.
Rae was great with my father in law. She did so much for him up until his death I would definitely recommend her to any that has an elder in their family that needs care.!!!
Our family had an exceptional experience with Rae. She was kind and compassionate & very attentive. She assisted our family in so many ways, not just with care but emotionally as well. She came to us as a caregiver & remained a trusted & close friend to our family!
